All works must be performed from memory (including pre-selection repertoire), with the exception of sonatas for piano and violin as well as contemporary works (composed in the past 30 years before the competition) and compulsory Chinese works.

*The pre-screening video should be recorded as landscape screen.

1.One Etude or Capriccio by R. Kreutzer, P. Rode, J. Dont, H. Wieniawski Op. 10/Op. 18, or N. Paganini Op. 1

2.One of the following works by W. A. Mozart (with cadenza and piano/orchestra accompaniment):

• Adagio in E major for Violin and Orchestra, K. 261

• One slow movement from one of his violin concertos
