First Round (max. 15 minutes)

a. One of following works by J. S. Bach:

· One Prelude and Fugue from The Well-Tempered Clavier, BWV 846 – 893

· Three movements from one of the English Suites, BWV 806 – 811, or from one of the French Suites, BWV 812 – 817, or from one of the Partitas, BWV 825 – 830

OR two Sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti

b. One fast étude by J. N. Hummel, F. Chopin, C. Debussy, or F. Liszt

c. One slow movement of any sonata by W. A. Mozart

Second Round (max. 35 minutes)

d. One first movement of any sonata by W. A. Mozart (except KV 331 and KV 282).

e. One set of variations by W. A. Mozart

f. One piece of works by F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, F. Chopin, or R. Schumann (including single movement from larger works)

g. One of the following works: 

· C. Debussy: Two pieces from Préludes

· B. Bartók: Two pieces from Mikrokosmos VI, or Two movements from The Suite, Op. 14

· S. Prokofiev: Three pieces from Visions fugitives

h. One compulsory Chinese work (The score will be sent to accepted candidates after the pre-selection result is announced )

Final Round (30 minutes)

i. One of the following concertos by W. A. Mozart (accompanied by orchestra):

· Piano Concerto No. 11 in F major, KV 413

· Piano Concerto No. 12 in A major, KV 414

· Piano Concerto No. 13 in C major, KV 415

· Piano Concerto No. 14 in E-flat major, KV 449
